As I walk the streets at night
I can only think of you alone
Memories fade yet my heart lingers

As I search for you, only whispers come
The night gazes upon me
As I walk the yesteryears streets

Seeking solace under the moonlight
I dance alone, down the river bridge
Waiting and hoping to touch you again

Yet for I know that I will be alone
For the forest of solitude grows
And the tree of loneliness keeps green

But the fruits of love will come
Even if only once…

I know the pain will come
For when you arrive I will know
That once is gone I will return
